  • GO BEYOND

Daily Themes, Speakers & Youth Leadership

“Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9

  • Monday - Go Beyond

    Opening Night

    Speaker - Dr. Ronald Stone

Tuesday Morning - Go Beyond Fear

Morning Worship - 7:30 AM PST

    Host: Nevada Youth

    Speaker: TBA

Theme: Courage to Step into the Unknown
    Text: Joshua 1:1–9
Key Point: God’s presence, not your confidence, qualifies you to lead.

Summary: Joshua must follow Moses, one of the greatest leaders in history. God does not give Joshua a detailed plan — He gives a promise: “I will be with you.” Leadership begins not when fear disappears, but when obedience overrides fear.

Tuesday Evening - Go Beyond Your Limitations

Evening Worship - 5:00 PM PST

    Host: Texas/AZ Youth

    Speaker: Pastor Meshach Soli

    Theme: God Uses Unexpected People
    Text: Joshua 2 (Rahab)
Key Point: Your past does not disqualify your future in God’s plan.

Summary: Rahab, an outsider with a complicated past, becomes a key figure in Israel’s victory and part of Jesus’ lineage. God advances His mission through people others overlook, reminding leaders to see potential where society sees labels.

Wednesday Morning - Go Beyond The Impossible

Morning Worship - 7:30 AM PST

    Host: SOCAL Youth

    Speaker: Pastor Joe Tonga

    Theme: Faith Before the Miracle
Text: Joshua 3–4 (Crossing the Jordan)
Key Point: God moves when leaders step forward in faith.

Summary: The Jordan River does not part until the priests step into the water. This moment teaches that breakthroughs often follow action, not the other way around. Memorial stones are set up so future generations remember what God has done.

Wednesday Evening - Go Beyond Human Strategy

Evening Worship - 5:00 PM PST

    Host: Children's Ministry

    Speaker: Pastor Meshach Soli

    Theme: Obedience Over Conventional Wisdom
    Text: Joshua 5–6 (Jericho)
Key Point: God’s methods may seem unconventional, but obedience brings victory.

Summary: Instead of attacking Jericho, Israel marches silently for days. The strategy highlights that success comes from trusting God rather than relying solely on human strength or logic.

Thursday Morning - Go Beyond Hidden Compromise

Morning Worship - 7:30 AM PST

    Host: Tongan SDA Pathfinders

    Speaker: Pastor Mil Palu

    Theme: Integrity in Leadership
    Text: Joshua 7 (Achan)
Key Point: Private disobedience can produce public consequences.

Summary: After victory at Jericho, Israel suffers defeat because of hidden sin within the camp. The story emphasizes the importance of honesty, accountability, and addressing problems directly to restore community health.

    Thursday Evening - PoHiva

    Start Time: 5:00 PM PST

    Speaker: Dr. Ronald Stone

Friday Morning - Go Beyond Past Failure

Morning Worship - 7:30 AM PST

    Host: Washington Youth

    Speaker: Pastor Paul Vunileva

    Theme: Redemption After Defeat
Text: Joshua 8 (Victory at Ai)
Key Point: Failure is not final when God leads the comeback.

Summary: Following repentance, God gives Israel a new strategy, and the same place of defeat becomes a place of victory. Leaders learn that setbacks can become stepping stones when lessons are applied.

Friday Evening - Go Beyond What Seems Possible

Evening Worship - 5:00 PM PST

    Host: Utah/Hawaii Youth

    Speaker: Pastor Meshach Soli

Theme: Bold Faith for Extraordinary Intervention
Text: Joshua 10:1–15 (The Sun Stands Still)
Key Point: God can intervene in unimaginable ways when leaders act with bold faith and obedience.

Summary: In the midst of battle, Joshua asks God to make the sun stand still so Israel can complete the victory. This audacious prayer demonstrates that leadership sometimes requires asking God for what seems impossible. God responds, extending the day and granting success. The story reminds leaders that when they align with God’s purposes, no limitation — even time itself — is beyond His control.

Saturday Morning - Go Beyond Your Lifetime

Morning Worship - 7:30 AM PST

    Host: NorCal Youth

    Speaker: Pastor Kepu Tauatevalu
    Theme: Legacy Leadership
    Text: Joshua 23–24 (Joshua’s Farewell)
Key Point: Great leaders prepare others to remain faithful after they are gone.

Summary: Near the end of his life, Joshua calls the people to renew their commitment to God: “Choose this day whom you will serve.” True leadership is measured not by personal achievements but by the faithfulness of those who follow.
